Delius awarded Wine Spectator Award of Excellence again! Each year since 2001, the wine list for Delius Restaurant has received the "Award of Excellence" from the Wine Spectator. Some of the improvements that have been made to the wine program since moving to our new location in the summer of 2007 include an expanded selection, temperature controlled storage in the dining room and a wine cellar that can seat up to 6 people for a lavish ten course meal. Our Wine list includes approximately 300 selections representing wines from all major wine producing countries and regions. Though there are a number of well known brands on the list, we tend to specialize in lesser known producers with a focus on quality and value. Our list suits the explorer and people who want to branch out with their wine experience. The restaurant’s Wine Director, Dave Solzman and the Sommelier, Matt Knightly are available to help you choose the perfect pairing or that great new discovery. Take advantage of their wine knowledge and find a new favorite on your next visit. Because availability, prices and vintages are constantly changing, Starting in 2012 we are proud to present our wine list on a sleek ASUS tablet. We have developed the proprietary software with local software developer and web design firm Astralcom. In early 2013 our list will be available as an app for your smart phone. Spectator "Our basic award, for lists that offer a well-chosen selection of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Typically, these lists offer at least 100 selections." Awarded to Wine Spectator's To qualify for an award, the list must present complete, accurate wine information. It must include vintages and appellations for all selections, including wines available by the glass. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, while the overall presentation and appearance of the list is also taken into consideration. After meeting these basic requirements, lists are judged for one of our three awards. Link
